Dear Jim,
This letter is to tell you how satisfied we have been with the home you built for us.
Our initial contacts were primarily with you which included the purchase of our lot, the architectural design of the house, specifications of the lighting fixtures, electrical layout, plumbing, air conditioning, flooring, etc. and finally, the signing of the contract. We found these sessions with you to be enjoyable, progress making, and of high caliber. We were also pleased with the contributions of your Interior Designer and Architectural Designer during this period. You and your staff bid the appropriate items to be purchased and the work to be done and selected from the respondents those who would do the work and from whom the purchases would be made.
The actual construction of the home was supervised by Bill Marconi although you visited the work site at least on a weekly basis. We found Mr. Marconi to be extremely competent and very responsive to our comments, complaints, and suggestions. However, the specifications, drawings, etc. were of such high value that we made very, very few changes or suggestions. We felt the subcontractors that you and your staff selected were excellent and Mr. Marconi insured the construction moved along very smoothly.
As the house neared completion, you brought in Gigi Grubbs to help coordinate the final things that needed to be done to insure we could occupy the home on the agreed upon date. Ms. Grubbs did an outstanding job, which required getting contractors to our home to fix small problems that arose. In addition, Ms. Grubbs coordinated fixing the small problems that arose in the first few months of our occupancy. She was very coordinated fixing the small problems that arose in the first few months of our occupancy. She was very careful not to allow any dirt, mud, or trash into our home during these periods of repair or touch up.
We also visited your office on a monthly basis to approve work done and authorize payment for it. We found the group of people we worked with during this phase to be very efficient and able to answer all questions that arose. The financial institution we selected to handle the construction loan and subsequent mortgage was familiar with you and your work and absolutely no problems arose with the progress payments or the conversion of the construction loan to the final montage.
Sincerely yours,
H. D. and Linda L. Brown
